I was raised in ceremony. Our language, our teachings, and our Elders shaped who I am today.
I believe leadership must start there—with humility, responsibility, and cultural grounding.
My vision is to bring back ceremonies and traditional spaces like fasting areas. Support our language and elders' teachings. Reaffirm our original Vision Statement through community dialogue.
As Chief, I will uphold the values of our ancestors while facing today’s challenges head-on
Our Cree language is a gift—it connects us to the land, our history, and each other.
I support programs that teach and protect our language and ensure cultural activities are part of daily life, especially for our youth.
I will fight for provincial and federal funding and space for culture camps, language instructors, and traditional knowledge keepers.
Safe, affordable housing is a basic right. I’ll advocate for new builds, better maintenance, and fair housing allocation.
No more waiting years for basic repairs. We’ll bring in trades programs that train our people to build and maintain homes for our community.
We have a clear plan in place.
I’ve seen too many young people suffer from addiction and feel like they’ve got nowhere to turn. I’ve been there myself.
We need programs that meet them with compassion, not shame. I’ll push for trauma-informed services, land-based healing, and real resources—not just talk.
Our youth deserve hope, opportunity, and someone in leadership who sees them.
Building a stronger community is needed. It will start with an accountable wellness committee.
The focus will be on healing, healthy food, and mental health.
We can Introduce programs like community hunts and traditional medicine sharing.
Our women and children deserve safety, dignity, and support.
My history proves this is a priority. I say what I do do what I say.
As Chief, I’ll continue to make this a top priority. That means more resources for mothers, stronger community safety programs, and honest conversations about accountability.
We must protect and uplift the women in our Nation.
I won’t hide behind closed doors or only show up at election time. I will lead with transparency, regular updates, and an open door.
I believe in financial transparency, including a review of the $150M Legacy Trust. This includes a forensic audit if needed to build trust and accountability.
If I say I’ll do something—I’ll do it. And if I can’t, I’ll tell you why.
That’s the kind of leadership I expect from others, and that’s what I offer to you.
